Northland’s Premier Marina Destination
Marsden Cove Marina is a 236-berth marina with comprehensive haulout facilities, located at the picturesque entrance to Whangārei Harbour. We’re perfectly positioned midway between Auckland and the Bay of Islands, and as a designated New Zealand Customs port of entry, we welcome vessels from around the world.
Boatyard and Haulout Services
Our 2.5-hectare fully-sealed hardstand accommodates up to 70 vessels with powered sites, modern amenities, and comprehensive facilities for vessel haul out, maintenance, repairs, and long-term storage.
Our Marina
Marsden Cove Marina offers 236 secure berths for vessels up to 30 metres, with 3 metres depth at low tide. Our modern facilities include 24/7 security, power and water at all berths, fuel dock, and a dedicated Customs clearance dock.
On-site Marine Services
Marsden Cove is home to a comprehensive range of marine trades and service providers, making it easy to maintain, repair, or upgrade your vessel. Our marine precinct includes boat builders, painters, marine engineers, mechanics, electricians, riggers, sailmakers, canvas specialists, upholsterers, boat brokers, and chandlery.

As a customs port of entry, Marsden Cove Marina welcomes international vessels arriving in New Zealand for customs and biosecurity clearance, with both Customs and MPI (Ministry for Primary Industries) meeting vessels on arrival.
