Marina Team
Tina Cookson, Marina Manager
Tina runs the day-to-day at Marsden Cove, focusing on safety and making sure every boat has a great stay. After first joining us in 2011, she returned to take over as Manager in 2025. A local who loves fishing, Tina enjoys meeting people from all over the world right in her own backyard.
Susi Goldmann, Marina Assistant
Susi is the main point of contact for guests at Marsden Cove, ensuring every arrival and departure goes smoothly. Joining in 2024 with a business background, she makes sure every visitor feels welcome. A keen sailor, Susi loves the connection she builds with our boating community.
Willis Cookson, Dockhand
Willis is one of the first faces you’ll meet on the docks, handling everything from maintenance to fuel and greeting arrivals. Since joining in 2023, he’s been finishing his Marina Operations apprenticeship while keeping the docks running smoothly. A keen surfer and diver, Willis loves meeting boaties from around the world and hearing their stories.
Boatyard Team
Remi Edwards, Boatyard Manager
Remi manages the boatyard, from health and safety to the lift schedule. Since joining in 2019, he’s worked his way up from apprentice to supervisor with a Level 4 in Boatyard Operations. He’s all about a great team environment and spends his spare time fishing, diving, or out on the jet skis.
Warren Marshall, Senior Boatyard Operator
Warren runs the hardstand, managing everything from lift schedules to site safety. Since joining in 2019, he’s built a reputation for getting complex jobs done right. A local emergency services volunteer, Warren is at home on the water and loves seeing the team and owners get a great result.
Elijah Blackmore, Boatyard Operator
Elijah runs the daily operations on the hardstand, making sure every lift and move is handled safely. Joining us in 2023 with a background in farming and machine operation, he brings a practical, hands-on approach to the yard. Elijah is also a keen diver and runner, and loves being part of the boatyard team.
Laura Burrell, Operations & Property Administrator
Laura handles the administration for the marina and hardstand, from booking lifts to inducting contractors and managing invoicing. Joining us in March 2026 after a career as an operations manager at NZ Post, she loves the daily busyness and local community. Outside of work, she’s busy with her two young kids.
