Marsden Cove Marina provides comprehensive facilities designed to make your time at the marina comfortable and convenient, whether you’re staying for a night or making this your home port.
Berths and Docks

Marina Berth Specifications
Marsden Cove Marina offers 236 berths in a range of sizes to accommodate vessels from 10.5 metres to 30+ metres, including dedicated berths for catamarans.
Standard Berths:
– 37 × 10.5m berths (4.6m width)
– 35 × 12m berths (4.9m width)
– 60 × 14m berths (5.3m width)
– 22 × 16m berths (5.7m width)
– 18 × 18m berths (6m width)
– 15 × 20m berths (6.2m width)
– 9 × 25m berths (7.3m width)
– 2 × 30m berths (8.0m width)
Catamaran Berths:
– 6 × 14m CAT berths (10.6m width)
– 5 × 16m CAT berths (11.4m width)
– 5 × 18m CAT berths (12m width)
– 1 × 25m CAT berth (14.6m width)
All berths feature modern finger pontoons for easy vessel access, with power and water connections available.
Power Supply
Every vessel connected directly (i.e., your vessel is plugged into shore power via a shore power connection) to 240V shore power at Marsden Cove Marina is required to have an Electrical Warrant of Fitness (EWOF). All power leads are also required to be tested and tagged annually.
If you simply have an ancillary device plugged in, such as a battery charger or dehumidifier, then you do not require an Electrical Warrant of Fitness, but you will still require a tagged (inspected) power lead.
Marsden Cove Marina does not supply dock lines. Vessels are required to supply their own dock lines.
There is free wifi available from the marina office. A wifi code can be accessed from the marina office. Wifi will only work around the marina building and does not extend down onto the docks.
Amenities Building
These are located on the ground floor of the marina office building.
You will need a TallyWeb account to enjoy a hot shower. Cold ones are free! Showers are $2 per 5 minutes.
A Tallyweb account gives you access to pay-as-you-use marina services like hot showers and laundry. Setting up an account at the marina office is quick and easy – it only takes a couple of minutes.
Washing machines and dryers are $4 per load. You will need a TallyWeb account to use the machines.
Located next to the marina office is the marina lounge with a small kitchenette, table, chairs, and a relaxing area. You will need a code to access the marina lounge. There is also a TV available with Freeview.
Feel free to grab one of our blue trolleys for loading or unloading your boat. When you finish with your trolley, please return it to the top of the pier for other marina customers to use.
Marina Lounge
Located next to the marina office is the marina lounge with a small kitchenette, table, chairs, and a relaxing area. You will need a code to access the marina lounge. There is also a TV available with Freeview.
Tallyweb Account
A Tallyweb account allows you to access pay-as-you-use marina services such as hot showers and laundry. Open an account at the marina office – it’s easy and takes only a couple of minutes.
Fuel Dock
There is a fuel dock located next to our haul-out ramp. There are three diesel pumps and two 91-octane petrol pumps operated by a Credit Card / EFTPOS terminal.
We can also supply duty-free fuel for vessels with a customs clearance when departing New Zealand.
During work hours (7:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri): Please berth port-side-to on the right-hand side of the fuel jetty to keep the ramp clear for haul-out operations. Large catamarans should check with the marina office before berthing if there are vessels scheduled on the haul-out ramp.
Depth Note: Vessels with deeper drafts should be mindful of depth at low tide.
Sewage Disposal
There are two pump-out stations within the marina. They are located at the top of A-pier and at the top of the fuel dock. We have a zero-tolerance policy for the dumping of raw sewage into the marina.
Waste Disposal
There is a rubbish cage located by the marina carpark. You will need a gate code for access. There is also recycling at the rubbish cage.
There is a waste oil drum inside the rubbish cage.
Marina Equipment
Yes, it is a fully-sealed asphalt yard.
Yes, there is power and water available at all sites.
We have toilets, showers, and kitchen facilities. Laundry facilities are located in the marina. If you ask nicely, you can even borrow our BBQ!
No, we supply ladders for you.
Yes, we have a telehandler with a 14m reach and 4 tonne lifting capacity.
Yes, you can book into covered facilities with one of our hardstand service providers.
Yes, we have a small amount of scaffolding available as well as a scissor lift available to rent.

WiFi and Communications
Free WiFi is available from the marina office. A WiFi code can be accessed from the marina office. WiFi will only work around the marina building and does not extend down onto the docks.

Parking
The marina car park is the sealed car park that the pathway leads to from the marina gates. We have CCTV cameras operating in the car park; however, do not tempt thieves by leaving valuables in your car.

You can get mail and packages sent to the marina office for you to collect.
