Before you enter the Marsden Cove Hardstand, you’ll need to complete a site induction.

This applies to everyone – each staff or crew member must do their own induction and agree to follow the site rules.

Our induction process:

1. Watch the full video below (approx 7 minutes)
2.  Read the Marsden Cove Hardstand rules and regulations
3. At the end of the video, click the link to complete the induction quiz
4. Our team will be in touch via email

You’ll need to do a refresher induction every 12 months, based on the date your insurance certificates were issued.

Transitional Facility

TF operator: Marsden Maritime Holdings
TF operator delegate: Remington Edwards
TF operator deputy delegate: Warren Marshall

A Transitional Facility (TF), in the context of New Zealand’s biosecurity, is a location approved by the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) to temporarily hold, inspect, and process imported goods that may pose a biosecurity risk. These facilities are crucial for managing uncleared goods until they receive biosecurity clearance, ensuring that New Zealand’s borders are protected from potential pests and diseases.

Our TF is for the decontamination of invasive bio foul from vessel hulls.

All visitors must follow all rules and instruction given by TF operator (Marsden Maritime Holdings).

  1. Entry is restricted to authorised and inducted personnel only.
  2. Visitors must report to the office, sign in and be accompanied by inducted personnel before entry.
  3. Always sign in and out, when in entering and exiting TF.
  4. All visitors must stay away from decontamination/quarantine area (Wash Bay).
  5. All visitors must stay away when decontamination procedures are in progress.

Failing to follow all rules and regulations may result in a trespass order being issued.
